Jiuxi Waterfall, known in Chinese as Jiuxi Pubu, is located in the hills southwest of West Lake in Hangzhou.
The waterfall sits within the scenic area known as Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies, or Jiuxi Shibajian. This natural trail follows a network of streams and ravines that flow south toward the Qiantang River, passing through dense forests, tea plantations, and limestone formations.
The cascade serves as a prominent landmark along the walking route through the park. Water gathers from the surrounding mountain springs and drops over the rock ledges, feeding into the creek system that gives the area its name.
