My story with China began in 2005, when I arrived in Shanghai with a backpack and a dream of diving deep into tai chi and qigong. What started as a few months of study turned into a two-decade journey, and the back lanes of Shanghai became home.
Over the years I have criss-crossed China from end to end — not as a tourist, but as someone who lives and breathes the place. I built close friendships with locals, listened to stories that never make it into guidebooks, and came to know the China the Chinese themselves know: the one that lives in the fascinating meeting point between ancient customs and a relentlessly modern pace.
Today I help other travellers fall in love with China exactly the way I did, building them one-of-a-kind trips full of the flavours, colours and hidden stories.
